Our Pathologists
Joseph M. Harmon, M.D. completed his education and residency in pathology
at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is board-certified in
Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Harmon's special interests are in
Gastrointestinal Pathology and Anatomic Pathology. Dr. Harmon serves as Director
of Anatomic Pathology at Roper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina and is
Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Medical University of South
Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Harmon is the Medical Director of
Coastal Pathology Laboratories and serves as Laboratory Medical Director, East
Cooper Regional Medical Center, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Bradford S. Collins, M.D. completed his education, internship and residency
at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. He is
board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology. Dr.
Collins serves as the Director of Laboratories, Beaufort Memorial Hospital,
Beaufort, South Carolina.

George Frederick Worsham, M.D. is a graduate of the Medical University of South
Carolina. He completed his pathology internship and residency at National Naval
Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Worsham also received additional
training in Hematopathology at the National Institutes of Health and the Armed
Forces Institute of Pathology and did additional training in Cytopathology at
Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr.
Worsham is board-certified in Anatomic
and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology. His special interests are in
prostate pathology and fine needle aspiration cytology. Dr. Worsham is Chief
Medical Officer of Charleston Pathology P.A. and also serves as Director,
Pathology Department and Laboratory Services, Roper Hospital, Charleston, South

Warren G. Tucker, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Louisville
School of Medicine. He completed his pathology residency at Naval Regional
Medical Center, Oakland, California. Dr. Tucker completed his fellowship in
Hematopathology at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South
Carolina. He is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical pathology and
Hematopathology.

J. Wade Strong, M.D. is a graduate of the Medical University of South
Carolina. Following his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the
Medical University of South Carolina. He
completed a Surgical Pathology fellowship at the University of Texas M. D.
Anderson Cancer Center. He subsequently completed fellowships in Cytopathology
and Dermatopathology. Dr Strong is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical
Pathology, Cytopathology and Dermatopathology. He serves as Medical Director,
Pathology Department and Laboratory Services, Bon Secours-St. Francis Xavier
Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina.

Anne Schiller-Flynn, M.D. is a graduate of Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North
Carolina. She completed her internship
and residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia where she
completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology. She is board-certified in Cytopathology, Anatomic Pathology and Clinical
Pathology. Her special interest include
breast/gynecological pathology and soft tissue pathology.

Danyel B. McEvoy, M.D. is a graduate of Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed her residency and a dermatopathology fellowship in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. McEvoy?s interests are in dermatopathology. She is board-certified in Anatomic, Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology.

Amy S. Kirshtein, M.D. is a graduate of the Medical University of South
Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. She completed her internship and residency
at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Kirshtein also
completed a Surgical Pathology fellowship at the Medical University of South
Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Kirshtein's interests are in Cytology,
Hematopathology and Neuropatholgy. She is board-certified in Anatomic and
Clinical Pathology.

Kelly McSweeney M.D. is a graduate of the Medical University of South
Carolina. She completed her internship and residency at the same institution.
She was co-director of Pathology Services at Doctors Hospital in Augusta,
Georgia for four years until returning to Charleston, South Carolina in 2006.
Dr. McSweeney's interests are in Pulmonary Pathology and Hematopathology. She is
board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

John R. McEvoy, Jr., M.D. is a graduate of the Medical University of South
Carolina. He completed his internship, residency and a fellowship in Placental
and Perinatal Pathology at the same institution. His special interests are in
Placental Pathology, Gestational Trophoblastic Disease and Breast disease. He is
board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He serves as Medical Director for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Mt. Pleasant Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
