PLACENTA PATHOLOGY
Services Provided
We offer specialized consultative services for patients, physicians, and
hospitals in the areas of placental and perinatal pathology. In many cases, examination of
pathology specimens (placentas, products of conception) may help identify the
cause or associated findings of undesired outcomes and may provide useful
information that allows for therapeutic intervention with hopes of a successful
pregnancy. In other cases,
examination of pathology specimens in conjunction with review of medical records
may help explain untoward outcomes.
